Its name is Prophet & Poet. We all have our Prophet — a mentor or teacher who opens a portal for us to explore and seek new truths and new worlds. Through our adventures we become the Poets of our own experience, weaving our lessons and stories to one day share and serve as Prophets to others.
This winemaking collaboration is the passion project of friends fusing their creativity, craftsmanship, and insight. Crafted by acclaimed winemaker Jesse Katz and made with fruit from California’s most exquisite and coveted vineyard sites, owned and farmed by the Jackson family, this is fine wine re-imagined by and for the next generation.
Prophet & Poet wines thin the veil between earth and the ethereal, and share mysteries of the universe within every bottle. Each of the wines is named for a character with lessons to teach: The elusive Ghost Cat, the indomitable King Bird, the wise Mountain Sage, the transformational Mourning Cloak, and the mindful Black Crown share stories of life and death, struggle, healing and peace.
